Glastonbury Amateur Baseball 15U American Legion team concluded an undefeated 13–0 fall season with a 4 to 1 championship victory over Tolland at Riverfront Park.  Glastonbury’s pitching trifecta of Garrison Case (3 innings 5K’s), Spencer Azzara (3 innings 2K’s) and closer Daniel Beagle  (1 inning 2 K’s), silenced a strong hitting Tolland team that had scored 15 runs in their opening round playoff game. Glastonbury’s offense was led by Luke Vartenigean, Daniel Beagle and Garrison Case who each had a hit and 1 RBI. Defensive gem of the game was turned in by GAB catcher Joe Zeppieri who made a diving play to end the top half of the 4th inning with runners on and Glastonbury behind 1 to 0.  Glastonbury then scored 4 runs in the bottom half of the 4th to secure the lead and eventual Championship.
